UNIFIED NEW ORLEANS PLAN
Concordia was recently designated to lead the coordination of the Unified New Orleans Plan, a comprehensive plan for the recovery and rebuilding of the City of New Orleans following the tragic devastation from hurricanes Katrina and Rita. The $10 million plan was funded primarily from national and local foundations. Concordia’s responsibilities included the selection of 12 urban planning firms and coordination of a public engagement process that included input from thousands of New Orleans citizens living in New Orleans and more than twenty diaspora cities nationwide.
