Mr. Lapeyrolerie has ten years of extensive private and public sector experience in the New Orleans metropolitan area and in Jefferson Parish of Louisiana in comprehensive, environmental, land use, master, and transportation planning. He also has extensive experience in community planning and facilitation, subdivision and resubdivision evaluation, site and development plan evaluation, redevelopment/revitalization efforts, New Orleans and Jefferson Parish zoning requirements and development standards, environmental assessment and inventory, New Orleans historic preservation, ArcView and GeoMedia GIS applications and mapping, project management, and housing and smart growth strategies and techniques. He has worked for and with numerous local, state, and regional agencies, the general public, community organizations and neighborhood associations, elected and public officials, and business and civic organizations, among additional stakeholders.  

Mr. Lapeyrolerie’s emphasis in planning is to assist in effective and efficient sustainable development and growth, while sustaining community and neighborhood cohesiveness and quality of life. Integrative public participation in planning efforts is a key element in achieving that goal. He has been afforded a wide range of knowledge, skills, expertise in the discipline of urban and regional planning.
