The Unified New Orleans Plan, coordinated by Concordia, LLC, was created to unite the disparate recovery planning processes in New Orleans in the hopes of presenting one vision for all the neighborhoods and citizens of the city. UNOP was developed with unprecedented participation and representation from every part of the city including displaced citizens in Baton Rouge, Houston, Atlanta, Dallas and the entire diaspora community nationwide. Citizens took precious time from their personal recoveries to voice their recommendations.
Since its completion, UNOP has been widely embraced by the community and now serves as the foundation of the city’s official Strategic Recovery and Redevelopment Plan.
